Colour and Light - a YouTube Preview

If you've not seen it already do take a look at the YouTube Preview (below) for James Gurney's (Gurney Journey) new book Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter which will publish very shortly.  Pre-orders have been sending it zooming up the Amazon book charts - as I indicated earlier this week in Makingamark's Top Ten Art Books in October

This was created by Spectrum which focuses on fantastic art - in the fantasy sense.  They say about the book that it
....bridges the deep divide between abstract art school-theory and real-world practical knowledge and final application – and does so without devolving into being either ponderous or pontificating. Why do some paintings resonate and others fall flat? Gurney shows us.
I'm really looking forward to getting my review copy!
