I am very grateful to Tracy who I had asked to give me a "deadline alert" as I am notorious for forgetting exhibition deadlines - and had managed to miss the deadline for this show for the last two years!

Which is why I sat down and immediately did my exhibition and art competition schedules straight after Tracy sent me my reminder! See
Would you believe that I didn't even notice that I had produced two drawings of globes in virtually the same colour palette until I came to wrap them up to take them to the Receiving Day! Maybe I have an unconscious obsession with globes - as I've noticed I've done a lot of drawings of round shapes in the past!

Where and when can you see the exhibition?

The Society of Botanical Artists Exhibition is being held at Central Hall, Westminster, London between Friday 24 April and Sunday 3 May 2009. It's open daily from 10am to 5pm including Sundays. Admission is free and all work is for sale. I'll be writing a review of the exhibition for this blog.
