Portrait Artist of The Year 2017 Social Vote RESTARTED

If you live in the UK you have until midday on Monday 13th March to vote for the eliminated artist you think should join the other finalists in the Final of Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2017.

International fans are unable to vote.

You can access the Social Vote by the post on the Sky Arts Facebook Page.

Here's what Sky Arts had to say about the social vote so far in their Facebook post
Here at Sky Arts we knew people loved Portrait Artist of the Year and we had a feeling that by creating a social vote it would cause a reaction… But we have really been overwhelmed by your response. So a big thank you for all your votes, interactions, views and support for the show.

When we opened our social vote, we had no idea how popular it would be and over the last 24 hours there was a surge in voting that was quite hard to explain. We chatted with the artists who didn’t understand it either.

So, due to the suspicious activity associated with the voting system (of no fault of any of the artists involved) and in the interest of a fair and even playing field, we have decided to restart the voting.

Please recast your vote below. Voting is only open to UK residents (sorry international fans) and will close on Monday 13th March at midday. Thanks for your patience and passion for Portrait Artist of the Year.
Please note you will be unable to vote if you have "opted out of Facebook Platform". You can change this by going to Settings and changing the app setting - see this help answer.

If Sky Arts want to prevent people from outside the UK or multiple votes from one IP address Sky should seriously think about investing in some decent software for running a poll.  That's because scam voting is a serious problem for most polls run online - and that's why there is software to provide protection against this!
