If so then you might like to try reading:
- Kirsty Hall - Tidying the Studio and Living with Less for some inspirational words by way of an incentive. (This is the link to freecycle.)
- Laurelines - My Studio before and after for some visual inspiration
- Ronell - My atelier for the place where Laura got her inspiration!
- and Cally - the fourth corner and a New Year and a reminder that the fibre folks do it with boxes !
- and for those who've not seen it before here's a link back to last month's post with pictures about Open Studios around the world
In the meantime, the sketch is of the view of the dome of St Paul's Cathedral from the Friends Room at Tate Modern - my backlog of sketches will be posted to my other blog "Travels with a Sketchbook" over the next few days.
Now - back to the clear out. I'm just pondering whether to order a crane and a skip! ;)
PS - My Design and Composition project starts on Monday..........
PPS Blogger isn't uploading images for me at the moment so I used Flickr - which seems to want to compress them! I'll remedy when Blogger starts to behave again. I do wish they'd get their slow/remote server problems sorted!!! (Now sorted and the dome of St Paul's is back to normal!)
Katherine--
ReplyDeleteHappy new year. I continue to enjoy your sites. In fact, I have to learn to NOT get bogged down on them because there is so much information. Happy blogging in 2008.
Hi Katherine, thank you for the mention of my tidy studio! It's getting its inaugural workout today, so we'll see how long it stays tidy! Did you see that you and I made the top 8 must-read art blogs for 2008 on Empty Easel?? Check out my blog for details.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to checking in on a daily basis in 2008!
I meant to say "checking in here on a daily basis" if you want to change that in my message.
ReplyDeleteguess I will have to photo my small studio space. Hanging with all 32 plus pieces of artwork. I started cleaning up in November for this year 2008.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the inspirations.
