- The Royal Watercolour Society has its Spring Exhibition "Marking Time" at the Bankside Gallery (until 26 April 2014). To mark the outbreak of WW1, the exhibition includes drawings, sketches and paintings from the RWS Archive of past Members’ war experiences recorded in the field. These include David Jones’ drawings made in the trenches, as well as images from other conflicts.
- The Annual Exhibition of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours has its Private View tomorrow and opens to the public at the Mall Galleries on 2nd April until 19th April 2014. The exhibition includes a theme on Gardens and Gardening.
Two virtual exhibitions
You can see both exhibitions online if you're unable to get to London. However do bear in mind that online exhibitions are not so good at giving you a true sense of size - besides which the paintings always look better in person.
