For fans of feline art

There are two exhibitions in London for fans of feline art next week.

• The Chris Beetles Gallery is having its Louis Wain and the Summer Cat Show 2013. This opened on Saturday and continues until 31 August.  It includes c.150 feline paintings, illustrations and ceramics. The paintings in this exhibition are very likely to be variations on watercolour - which is a specialism of this gallery.
• The Society of Feline Artists are having their Annual Exhibition 2013 at the Llewellyn Alexander Gallery. This opens on 22nd August and runs until 20th September 2013 (10am - 7.30pm Monday to Saturday).

to be displayed in the Society of Feline Artists 16th Annual Exhibition

I'm kicking myself because my friend Gayle Mason (Fur in the Paint | Gayle Mason Fine Art on Facebook) gave me a copy of the catalogue for the SOFA show when we met up recently and I now can't find it.

Here however is her very handsome chap who's in the SOFA show.

I think the last time she showed a ginger he sold before the show even opened!
