Your artwork is so wonderful -- the two beautiful sketches displayed in this post are stunning -- which makes me want to ask if you feel torn between wanting to making art full time and putting so much time into your information resources.

I sense that you are someone who gains pleasure from doing both, that the research, learning, and organizing of information is an equally creative endeavor for you.

You provide a unique resource that has served to provide connections between so many artists, that has helped us find each other, learn from each other and make strong friendships that have allowed us to grow as artists as never before possible. Thank you!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20645140.post-21164515606230754022011-01-02T18:47:17.395+00:002011-01-02T18:47:17.395+00:00I have only recently discovered your blog, but I h...I have only recently discovered your blog, but I have found it hugely inspiring and encouraging. Your sharing of information has been especially valuable, and I look forward to reading your observations throughout 2011.

I have always been ready to introspectively review where I am going and what I have achieved, but your very honest and open self-evaluation has encouraged me to approach the coming year in a rather more focussed way which is really exciting!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20645140.post-30937442857738235562011-01-02T18:36:09.216+00:002011-01-02T18:36:09.216+00:00This is an inspiring post - so much achieved, and ...This is an inspiring post - so much achieved, and so much to do. So much of it was completely avoidable if they had stuck to the rules and done their job properly.

I don't know whether they are lazy, ignorant or cowboys (or possibly all three) but we're not allowing that sort of behaviour in our neck of the woods! :)

Blogging and Flickr have both proved to be absolutely superb tools for showing the regulators what has been going on and monitoring the development. Can that be true?? Seriously, I have never met anyone with the energy, drive, conscientiousness, dedication, and productivity that you have manifested over the past five years. I mean that most sincerely. You have accomplished such a masterwork with this blog and its satellite blogs. Congratulations on such stunning achievement! I am so glad you are now going to take some time to restore yourself and to make more of those lovely, large landscape drawings you started in 2010.
Of course, MAM will continue to be a real force in the cyber art world and I will be following along, as I have for all five years, with deep admiration. You have had a great influence on my artlife ever since I found your site(s). And totally agree you must make some space for yourself too, we will all benefit.
