The Vineyard


There's an awful lot of very famous wine areas in the Cote du Rhone wine region near where I'm staying - from Chateauneuf du Papes to Beaumes de Venise.

However there's also a lot of more ordinary vineyards with just a few rows of vines - and one of them is right across the road from where I'm sitting. This is what it looked like at 6.00pm yesterday

Vineyards are great subjects for paintings - I wonder how many paintings I'm going to see of this one?
