Read my review of Color and Light

My Book Review: Color and Light by James Gurney is now posted over on Making A Mark Reviews - click the link to have a read.

Back cover of
Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter
I now know what I should have been doing when I tried to do a reverse atmospheric perspective for my A level Art exam - without having been taught how they work! I've spent years trying to get it right - and finally I've got a book which tackles this!

For those thinking of subscribing to Making A Mark Reviews blog, my next book review is of Studio and Business Practices by Deborah Paris. See the side column for the subscription link.

  1. Hi Katherine,

I know that I'm going to get his book "Imaginative Realism" for this Christmas.
It seems to be quite good too.

I'd like to wish a Merry Christmas to you, to your family, and to all the readers of this blog and their respective families.
    And also to myself :-)

    José
