As you know most of my sketches associated with travelling with my sketchbook are now posted in my Travels with a Sketchbook in.... blog first.

Here are a couple of recent sketches, from left to right:
  • A Canaletto View (5th June 2007) - the view from Island Gardens on the Isle of Dogs, across the River Thames to the Old Royal Naval College, part of the World Heritage Site in Greenwich. This a very famous view of one of the most striking buildings in London - which was painted by Antonio Canal (Canaletto).
  • High Spots in Westminster and Trafalgar Square (6th June 2007) - the view, from the 3rd floor restaurant at the top of the National Portrait Gallery, across the top of Trafalgar Square to the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey .
